sometimes ... when there's silence all around
when the waters seem to rise ... n nothingness seems to set in
its then that i can hear the hum of the bees
the chirping of the birds
the shadows casting away
the evening blushing into the night
n i realize life is oh so wonderful
n i’ve been given the affluence to admire it
